Looking at this... I'm just wowing inside. How could my family have given this up... I saw an old Bonanza where the Cartwrights talked a Rabbi into allowing his daughter to give up Sabbat.
Now I know why there was so called communion cups hidden in grandmas house. I figured out the salt dishes a few days ago. Grandma just told me they where things used by everyone years ago. She told me the shawl was a bed bolster to keep your feet warm.
Even though my grandma had to give all this up, she still lived the laws and died at 101 years old with use of all her mind and body.
